What I missed this weekend!: Yesterday there was a concert in honour of Prince Henrik on the occassion of his 80th birthday. No, these aren’t paparazzi pictures. Princess Madeleine agreed to publish these pictures during her interview with Expressen. After all the rumours she decided to comment on her moving to London plans. Little Leonore was also there. Madeleine explained she tried to get her to sleep but that didn’t work out so she took her for a walk.
After being asked about her plans, she said: “It was more than we knew. It’s something Chris and I are talking about. It’s not something that will happen right now. Currently, we live here in Manhattan and we are happy about it. But of course, in the future, we hope to get closer to both our families, so we’ll see. It’s also important for Princess Leonore that’s mainly what draws us to Europe. But much also depends on the job of Chris, but as I said, there is nothing we will do right now, but in that case later on. We’ll see!”

Yesterday October 1, Prince Carl Philip was promoted to Major in a ceremony at the Amphibious Regiment at Berga, south of Stockholm.After the Prince completed his basic military training, he was appointed second lieutenant after graduation. Since 2002, the Prince employed as a reserve officer at the Amphibious Regiment and has conducted training as captain with appointment as captain in 2007 the service has been focused on participation in training and exercises with Amphibious and with other naval units.
Colonel Peder Ohlsson, director of the Amphibious Regiment, has been using this as a background made the decision to promote Prince Carl Philip of Major.
